In “Turn to Jesus” S5 / E72 of I Took a Right Turn: After our usual comments on the weather in the Promised Land then we move on to speaking about our need to be steadfast in prayer. We should stand on His Word and as we branches stay united with the Vine ask in Jesus’ Name and receive. We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us through our website itookarighturn.com. Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a song that sometimes stays in my head for days afterwards, an old song that has blessed generations of believers, We Shall See the King. Next, we share another of our favorite songs a classic from Bill and Gloria Gaither, He Touched Me. Then comes an old song from the days of the camp meetings, Everywhere He Went. Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that shouts a greeting and offers a prayer, Hello Jesus.
Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to John 17:2-4 and we see that we need to follow Jesus, that’s what He’s called us to do and to recognize Him as the divine Savior, the incarnation God.
