Judging By What We See

In “Judging by What We See” S5 / E65 of I Took a Right Turn: After another week under the catastrophic “HEAT DOME!!!!” we are once again experiencing normal summer weather, hot and humid.  Here in the Heartland of America, we have a phenomenon called “Corn Sweat” where all the millions of acres of corn emit so much water vapor it raises the humidity level to the stratosphere. It’s all beautiful to look at and we have what we call “Corn Walls.”  This is where the corn is so high that it feels like we’re driving down green canyons.

We give praise for Rosalie’s continued recovery.  We also remind people they can send their prayer requests to us through our website.

The musical portion of this podcast begins with an old song that tells the Devil what we’re going to do, Listen to Me Devil.  Then comes another old song that we learned from our brothers and sisters in The Church of God in Christ, Jesus I’ll Never Forget.Next, is a song that expresses the entire Gospel in just a few lines, Living He Loves Me. Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that’s a rallying for all believers: Come on People

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to I Timothy 5:24-25 and see that God is telling us we can’t always see what the truth is because the exterior doesn’t always show the reality of the interior.

We want to invite everyone to send us your miracle stories.  Everyone who does will receive one of Robert’s books.  We’re very excited about this new segment because we feel God has guided us into this expansion of the Podcast Ministry.  Just go to  itookarightturn.com and click on Contact and use the message system to submit.

Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “Can’t Judge a Book.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.

The text of the readings from Robert’s book is posted the day after the release of each episode at www.itookarighturn.com All of Robert’s more than forty books are available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible through Amazon. As we have mentioned, Robert has begun releasing studio versions of his many songs.  His first release, “Who Writes the Review” is now live on all streaming platforms.  This link will lead you to iTunes, live on iTunes
