Cast Out All Doubt

In “Cast Out All Doubt” S5 / E55 of I Took a Right Turn: Of course we open up with our usual comments on the weather in the  Promised Land and move on to speaking about the Lord and His healing touch, how we all encounter times when we need that.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a song that sometimes stays in my head for days afterwards, an old song that has blessed generations of believers and led multitudes to Christ, I Surrender All.  Next a song by Chris Tomlin that has become a staple at many churches, Amazing Love.  Then comes a song that speaks about how our life in Christ should be lived if we want to experience His power, They That Wait Upon the Lord.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that speaks of where we are as we surrender in love and wait: Don’t Give Up. 

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to John 20:24-29 and consider the well-known story of doubting Thomas.  We look at its implications for us and share a little about the well-documented fruit of Thomas’ later life.

After this, we move on to our newest segment of the Podcast, “A Miracle Moment.”  This week, we share another miracle from before Rober was saved, commenting on how God can preserve us until our personal day of redemption.
